Telegram Gifts: Before even officially launching, the on-chain Telegram Gifts saw more than $1 million in trading volume and boasted a $10 million market cap. Clearly, the appetite for these interactive collectibles is huge.

The idea behind Anonymous Numbers is simple: in a world where personal data is getting more and more vulnerable, Telegram offers phone numbers minted on the blockchain. These allow users to keep their privacy while still verifying their identity. Imagine signing up for a service or chat group without revealing your real phone number—yet still proving you’re a real, unique person.

In 2024, the NFT world was still reeling from a year-long downturn. According to data from DappRadar, the overall trading volume for NFTs dropped by about 20%, cementing the notion that the market had entered a correction phase. Headlines reported the closure of once-thriving platforms like MakersPlace and the scaling back of operations at other well-known NFT marketplaces. This wasn’t just a minor slump; it felt, to many, like the end of an era.

Ston

The home that now houses Kapetanova Kuca once belonged to the captain in charge of Ston’s defensive wall. Now the building belongs to the Kralj family who also own the nearby hotel Ostrea. As such, this is a great place to sample local Mali Ston oysters, particularly because the restauraunt has previously been named one of the 100 best in Croatia.

Ston, and its counterpart Mali Ston, sits on the cape of land connecting the Pelješac Peninsula to the mainland. Known as a salt-producing town, Ston was an important military fort of the Ragusan Republic, and the defensive wallls are world-famous. The 900 metre encircles the area for three miles – the second largest in the world after the Great Wall of China. Despite its military history, nowadays Ston is a small, laid-back fishing town, which boasts some dramatic views – think crumbling churches, olive groves and a stunning coastline. Its proving a winner with tourists, also drawn in by the superlative oyster farms (the oysters here have been commended as some of the best in the world.)

Ston (.mw-parser-output .IPA-label-small .mw-parser-output .references .IPA-label-small,.mw-parser-output .infobox .IPA-label-small,.mw-parser-output .navbox .IPA-label-small pronounced ) is a settlement and a municipality in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County of Croatia, located at the south of isthmus of the Pelješac peninsula.

In 2004, work on the restoration of obsolete walls was started, with the aim of facilitating visits to the area between Ston and Little Ston. It was assumed that the works would be completed by May 2008, but only the original part of the Ston Bridge was rebuilt. The reconstruction of the Great Wall in Ston, worth about five million kuna (€673,000), was completed, and it was announced that the stone walls with public entrance fee will be opened in May 2009. Part of the wall is open to the public since October 2009 for a fee. Until 2013, the original part of the city, the road have been restored. It takes 15 minutes to get to the first part, and 30 minutes to get from the Great to the Small Wall. Today the greater part of the walls have been restored.
